Since 1778, visitors have traveled to The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. There they take time to relax and partake in the numerous outdoor activities offered to guests. One of the activities offered is fly fishing where you can enjoy catch and release trophy trout or smallmouth bass. Fishing enthusiasts of all levels take pleasure in the views provided by the Allegheny Mountains and the sounds of nature as the creek winds peacefully through the property.
The Greenbrier Bamboo Fly Rod pays homage to this very special piece of Americana. Commissioned and residing at The Greenbrier Resort, proudly displayed for the many anglers who spend their time at the resort.
This rod is a collaboration between Ron Scott and Lisa Svedberg. Ron provides the bamboo rod, and Lisa adds the embellishments. Extra fancy handcrafted solid gold brook trout reliefs by Lisa adorn the winding check and reel seat. It is a great example of the collaboration done in our Svenska line of rods. These provide inspiration to those at the resort to have a custom made, one of a kind piece of art split bamboo fly rod, to use or to proudly display.
